Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Ra. Alamuddin. She was a Lebanese British attorney and rights advocate. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. The length of her professional career has received international praise for her achievements in international law and the field that deals with human rights. Her prominent clients included national states such as Armenia, which was fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney was engaged and married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop culture. The actress was widely known and admired for representing clients with success and with skill within the legal profession years before. Her work spans from dealing with social justice and human rights issues to representing several multinational corporations in their negotiation and court cases in relation to government regulation. As of 2015, she was a barrister one type of legal representative for British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
