Aisling Bea
Aisling is an Irish-born comedian who has been around for a long time. Born in Kildare, Ireland, on 16th March 1984. The comedian appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born on March 16, 1984) who is also known by the name Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. After playing bits in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The comedian began to appear regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms in 2012. In the wake of her success at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel shows. In 2016, and in 2017, she was the team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan, and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. She became only the second female to win So You Think You're Funny in 2012. Bea was awarded the award to honor her father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan is an Kildare born girl. Her birth date was the 16th of March, 1984. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who committed suicide when she was just three. Bea didn't learn how the death of her father occurred until she turned thirteen. Her stage name Bea is a tribute to her father. Bea wrote an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience dealing with suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a professional jockey for a time. The family was obsessed with horses and race meetings. Bea was a trainer for The Irish National Stud in her beginning teens. However, she knew it wasn't something she wanted to be in a career and she preferred performing.
